Where It All Started
Hoop Editz — Born on the Court
In the summer of 2017, a 13-year-old Kage McCorkle started filming his brothers' AAU basketball games for $8 per video. That was the birth of Hoop Editz — and the beginning of Mack Media Co.
Today, Hoop Editz is one of the most recognized basketball content brands in the Midwest. We've covered Nike EYBL, Prep Hoops Circuit, and hundreds of AAU and high school events. Our highlight films have helped athletes earn college scholarships, and our content has been featured on ESPN, SportsCenter, and Ball Is Life.

How long should a basketball highlight video be?
For college recruiting, 3-5 minutes is the sweet spot. Coaches are busy — they want to see your best plays quickly. We also provide 60-second social cuts optimized for Instagram and TikTok.
